Rock City Fitness offers personalized training programs through 1:1 and small group workouts. All sessions are private, in person and by appointment.
Clients at Rock City Fitness have a variety of goals. Some examples include: weight loss, building muscle, rehabbing injuries, sports performance and Spartan Race prep. Rock City Fitness works with clients who highly value personal fitness and need help with either accountability and/or taking their workouts to a new level.

The cost of the program is determined in a consultation. Training at Rock City Fitness is highly individualized and personal. The consultation will allow both the trainer and potential client make an informed decision not just based on price. You will get to see the gym, meet the trainer and have a sample of the types of workouts performed.

The best way to describe the gym equipment at Rock City Fitness is "functional fitness". The vast majority of equipment is free weight style including dumbbells, barbells, plates, kettlebells, medicine balls, sandbags and battle ropes. There are also multipurpose cable machines, lots of core training devices and sleds and turf.
1:1 and group training sessions last 45-55 minutes.
Clients typically schedule 2 or 3 workouts a week at Rock City Fitness.
The duration of a program varies based on where the client is starting and what their goals are. Clients will start to see changes in their body 8-12 weeks into a program. The majority of clients workout for 1-2 years or more. Many clients have been at Rock City Fitness for a decade plus. Training at Rock City is about developing a consistent fitness lifestyle and a partnership with the trainer.
All sessions are by appointment. Appointments can start as early as 6:00 AM and as late as 8:00 PM. Saturday appointments are available as well. We work with clients to develope a schedule that fits the rythyms of their lifestyle.
One of the best things about Rock City Fitness is the ease of getting in and out. The parking is right by the door and there is no check in process. Just get in and get going with the workout. Other than that the gym has a comfortable, attractive lobby, restroom, drinks, coffee, TV, shower and great rock music ;)
This is something that new clients always enjoy and comment on. The appearance and vibe is very cool. There is atmospheric lighting both in the lobby and workout floor. There is always rock music playing. All throughout the gym are pop culture decorations. You will see cool items from movies, TV shows, concerts, bands, sports teams and much more!
There is not childcare. However, because the gym and workout is private, kids are welcome to come and will be safe. The main thing is that they are respectful and not disruptive to the parent's workout. Kids can hang out in the lobby with a book or tablet. They can watch TV or play the Star Wars arcade game. They are welcome on the workout floor too as long as they are staying safe. Some kids just watch their parents workout. Sometimes the kids participate. Decisions about kids in the gym are made on a case by case basis.
